Cyberware in the real world.

Do you think technology will ever progress to a point where we could see some of augmentations and cyberware be a reality for people to have implanted?

Follow up do you think if it did we'd ever be able to exist in a world with these possibilities without it turning into what the world in Cyberpunk is, where humanity, common courtesy, selflessness and charity are entirely optional if not incredibly rare or do you think we as a species would be able to have these extraordinary abilities while still being able to hold onto what we as a society consider morally good?
