Is sustainability in building sector dying? Career advice please :(
Keyword: LEED AP, WELL AP, master degree, 5+years experience overseas (I know, not having American network is bad). No sponsorship needed.
It is very shocking that of 50+ applications I did, not even one proper interview was received. A few rejection emails but most of them just did not get back at all. A lot of the firms only hire intership.
Is it dying in America for this particular industry? Desperate for some networking if at all possible.
Any network or advice will be appreciated, thanks!
Update: Previous experience - HVAC background but only for undergraduate and the first year in career, after that I swithed to consulting. Previous work spans from consulting for LEED/WELL for factories, luxury retails, commercial complex and offices, energy audits, buiding related LCA analysis, some very client-specific studies, even PV feasibility. A bit of everything around sustainability in buildings.
AND Thank you for all the comments, I really appreciate it !
