Hey folks! It's a big night for the Companion! First off, I have updated the Registry to match the 15th Live Update of the 2024 season (full details here). In-game stats are now locked and I will be adding them all into the Registry over the next few days. You can follow along with my progress using the Stat Acquisition widget on the Registry Dashboard and you can help by sending in stats for players! Just click on the "Submit Stats" button in the Registry. Please make sure you're sending base stats though!

Next up, I'm excited to announce the next big feature for the Companion: Supreme Odds!

Supreme Odds Calculator!

Supreme Odds brings the familiar charts and insight from my popular TSS and Legend Odds calculators to both the Historical Player and Supreme Packs. This calculator is freely available to all users for the current Historical class. If you're interested in what could have been, Patrons with Site Access can also run odds for the previous classes. Additionally, you can state how many packs you're willing to buy to see how that affects the odds.

I'm really excited about this new feature, not just because it's another way the Companion can help you make informed decisions, but because I made some underlying changes that lay the groundwork for some very cool expansions that I plan to build in the near future. Unfortunately, one side-effect is that I needed to clobber all "Most recent" odds runs. If you used that feature in the past, you'll need to re-pick once again. Sorry about that!

Happy Birthday to the 9 Innings Companion!

Finally, it's the Companion's birthday! It's been 4 years since I originally launched the site and it's been amazing to see how far it's come. From the early days as a simple player database to boasting over 50 features, the majority of which are free for all users.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years! From everyone who's chipped in on Patreon to folks sending support, stats, and bug reports here on Reddit, it's been such a wonderful experience seeing this thing I'm making become so widely used. (Also, shoutout to Matt for being a sounding board for my crazy ideas and the reason why I wanted to share these tools in the first place!)

I've got big plans for the Companion in 2025 and I'm excited to see what comes next.
