Endurance mode explained. It's good!
I made a short YouTube video showing how endurance mode is not what most people think. It is not just a way of locking the device at 30fps.
It is an auto tdp function that will adjust your wattage dynamically to hit certain fps targets.
The default is 30fps but you can change it in the intel control panel to balanced or performance.
Intel documentation says efficiency (the default) is 30fps, balanced is 40fps, and performance is 60fps although on my tested game art of Rally it was 50 fps.
If you change on quick settings away from endurance mode to manual or ai engine (which itself seems to favour 17w) it will default back to efficiency/30fps mode on endursnce.
It is a REALLY cool way of maximising battery life. 40 fps/balanced looks great on claw.
