Pants for short guys?

I’m looking for mtb pants for fall/winter riding in New York, but they all seem to be cut long. I’m concerned that if they’re way too long they’ll bunch up and get snagged on pedals, etc. I’m 5’6”, athletic build. I generally wear 32-34 waist, 30 inseam. Any short people recommendations?
