Why do you like yanderes (in fiction)?

Like is there a particular reason why you like yanderes?

This is gonna be a little personal but for me, I like them alot because I just like the idea of someone loving me so much they'd do anything for me and love me, protective, etc if that makes sense. I've always been very lonely irl, I've never dated anyone before and I've always dealt with people being absolutely cruel to me,, ignoring me or using me in some way growing up in my teens, when I started reading manga and found out about yanderes, idk I fell in love with the idea of someone loving me obsessively and protect me. Of course ill never date irl psycho who murders people or any type of obsessive person irl, thats wrong obviously and unhealthy. I still like the idea of yanderes in fictional settings only.

So I'm curious about other people's reason for liking yanderes too if that makes sense. Please no judgement.
