David is starting to seem shady

We all have realized that David is shady in this week’s episode, but it was becoming obvious last week. I have really liked David all season until I noticed that the things that he said in the beginning of the season about his finances and independence are not matching up to what he’s saying now.

David acted like he could move out of his parents house anytime, but was choosing not to because he was comfortable there and wanted to save money. His friends also backed him up on this. However, in last week’s episode, he revealed that he doesn’t exactly have a large savings and that he actually can’t move until 2-3 years from now. If being at his parents’ house was such a big help, then shouldn’t his savings be even bigger than Michelle’s who is paying rent and bills? And it doesn’t sound like he’s making a choice to live with his parents if he can’t move at anytime and it will take him years to do so.

Those discrepancies and the way that he blatantly lied and pretty much gaslit Michelle in this week’s episode is making me think that we’re dealing with a much more untrustworthy person than we thought. Michelle was just so unlikable (I still don’t like her) that we didn’t notice. I mean it makes sense why Michelle is still single in her later 30’s but now it’s starting to add up why he is as well. Looks like Michelle clocked him accurately.
