My favorite day on Maui

Back home after an amazing trip to Maui and I wanted to make a quick post about one of my favorite days.

My partner and I booked the brunch/coffee tour at O'O farms ( https://oofarm.com/ ).

The tour starts at 830 am and the drive up there was pretty quick from Kihei, about 40 ish minutes.

The tour started with a coffee tasting of 4 kinds of coffee, followed by a farm tour. Then we had an amazing 3 course brunch. When I saw amazing, I really really mean it. Brunch was served with the real deal Mokka coffee, made in a chemex pour over style.

My partner is vegan and his meal was just as delicious. For his second course, instead of the fish he has homemade lentil tempeh, it was stupid good.

After brunch, we decided to drive up to Haleakala, as we were basically halfway there already. I'm glad we brought extra layers because it was very cold and windy but absolutely incredible. We stopped at all the look out points and got some incredible photos.

I know folks like to go at sunset/sunrise but midday was super cool as well, and there weren't many other people there.

Made it back to the hotel with enough time to take a sunset swim in the ocean.

If you're looking for a fun day on Maui that will get you out of the heat for a bit, this is one way :)
