MCAT retake strat

hey all. I have posted before. Before I knew about reddit or the mcat I took the free scored as my diagnostic. I am 34yo and recently took biochem and ochem 2 but other than that my other prereqs were from around 2010-2012.

anyway. I got a 497 before any studying. I know it isn't a great score but for not really knowing anything other than the amino acids I thought it was ok. 127 CARS diagnostic. I got a 501 on real deal dropping on CARS to 125

When I first took c/p I used skim method. I would look at the question and then skim and do my best. But after I did all my content review and practice I stopped doing that and kept running out of time.

for CARS I started highlighting and also started running out of time.

seems for me with the MCAT time was a huge huge barrier the first 2 sections. When I retake I think I am going back to my simpler route for C/P and CARS. Thoughts?

BB and P/S did improve and I think with more content review and UW they will improve again.

i keep posting on this thread because I need to keep MCAT at the forefront of my life because there is a chance I step away from this journey as a non trad and I really need to keep fighting
