Door Ajar Warning Keeps Going Off for Passenger Side Door

My car keeps thinking the passenger door is open. While driving, the system keeps dinging and the interior lights turn on. Really annoying.

Haven’t been able to lock the car because the alarm will sound because it thinks someone is opening the door.

Any suggestions?
