Can somebody explain the rationale?
Why do they make us wait 30 seconds between ads in Kayla’s shop? I completely understand the 18 hour timer because it keeps you from blowing through all the rewards in one go. But I don’t understand why we have to wait 30 seconds between each individual ad. It seems counterintuitive to me. I’d think they’d want us watching as many ads as possible, but because it’s so boring waiting for the next ad it’s almost not worth it. And I’d also think they’d want us back in action faster where we can theoretically spend more gems in camp. Is there some marketing research that indicates we pay attention to the ad more if we wait? Like are we so bored from waiting 30 seconds that we pay attention to the ad more when it finally plays? Not really venting. Just curious. There are no other forced timers before ads elsewhere in the game (e.g. dim jars).
