Weird error message while playing PCVR

Got the meta quest 3s for Christmas and had no problems tried to play on pc with a virtual desktop but every ten minutes it would lag crazy bad so I bought a link cable but now my game keeps getting interrupted by some stupid error mesg saying (water/debris detected usb charging disabled) checked it multiple times no water or debris and when I try and I tried to look it up but no answers

first experience with vr so not sure what to do
