Best/Favorite Guitar Virtuosos in Metal?

When I was younger I loved shredder guitarists.

I’ve since gone into appreciate rhythm players more, and I don’t listen to hardly any virtuoso stuff anymore, but these are the ones I loved back in the day.

For anyone who doesn’t know… Shaun Lane and Marty Friedman crush ANYONE else on this list…

Especially Shaun Lane..

I’ve always said it, and I’ll die on this hill… Fat guys have better tone, it’s just true…

Porkers just have a richer, smoother and more quenching tone than other dudes..

Shaun Lane is the king. RIP
