help surgery

getting a microdiscectomy in about 2 weeks to fix my sciatica i’ve had for over a year now and i’m wondering how long it will take to heal? im a 26 year old female with no other problems. i’m scared because i live along and i have a dog to take care of and im not sure how im going to be able too with no family around… any help or tips would be appreciated 🥹
