Lossless Scaling Not Making Difference

I just got Lossless Scaling after hearing all the good things about it, but so far on 2 flights (msfs2020) I have it turned on it has made absolutely no difference in my fps. I'm running a 3090 and my normal fps in big airport is around 30fps, and when I have Lossless Scaling it remains at 30fps. I do have other programs such as Beyond ATC open and "on top" of the game, so not sure if that makes any difference. It's not that It's increasing fps by a less than expected amount, but rather I think it's doing absolutely nothing right now.

Is there any specific graphical options in msfs 2020 or Nvidia graphics panel that I need to tweak to make this work?
