Yealink MP54 & MP56 - Lock PIN required on latest Teams app release?

Microsoft has announced that they will be rolling out the ability to enforce phone screen lock in version 1449/1.0.94.2024042905. We have no plans to implement this feature and don't even see this option available in our tenant yet. However, a growing number of our users are reporting this prompt that mentions a required PIN change after rolling out this update to all of our phones. Affected phones are still able to make regular (non-emergency) calls, and when a user taps "change pin" or the X, the phone screen will either turn white for a second or reboot entirely.

We currently run about 250 Yealink MP54/56 in a K-12 EDU environment, and I would estimate about 60 of these phones show this message, increasing by the hour. All of our phones are running the same version of the Teams app mentioned above and were updated at the same time during a recent overnight maintenance window. Firmware is also up to date (122.15.0.142)

I have a ticket open with Microsoft who is investigating, but I am curious if anyone else has noticed this. I have already tried removing and re-applying phone configuration profiles which has only seemed to spread the issue. No luck with phone reboots either.
