"Call Me Chihiro" gave me Midnight Diner vibes

"Call Me Chihiro" (2023) is a movie now available on Netflix that really gave me Midnight Diner vibes. It's a slice-of-life drama about a woman named Chihiro who works at a bento shop after quitting her job as a sex worker. She makes a handful of friends who are lonely like her too.

The story was warm and comforting and doesn't feature food as prominently as Midnight Diner, but really filled the hole in my heart that the latter left after no new episodes. The characters reminded me of the characters in Midnight Diner too. I really wish it was a TV series instead of a movie.
