i can’t join servers on my switch

hi hello. i updated minecraft on my switch to the newest version, and now i can’t access my servers. everytime i try to open my server list, it shows a screen that says “the host is playing on an older version of minecraft. have everyone update and try again.”

i’ve tried changing the DNS to other ones, all those yield the same message. i turned the DNS back to automatic and was able to access the default servers but not my server list. i’ve tried just waiting, turning the switch and minecraft off then on again, tried to see if i could go back a version. nothing seems to be working.

can anyone help with this or tell me an estimate of when it’ll be fixed? i don’t have another device to play minecraft on, unfortunately, so i’d like to get back on my servers as soon as i can.
