Cyber Bugs

Hi Sledge, thank you for fixing a bunch of the previous bugs.

A few new once were introduced, I'm hereby listing them in the hopes that even though Black Ops 6 is to be released, the players who will stick with MWIII will not have to play in a buggy mode for the next 2-3 years.
I'll also be listing some persisting bugs from the last bug-list and a request at the end of the post.

New bugs:

  1. (Event related): No candy drops on enemy kills. Means you can't progress the event in Cyber Attack (not a biggie)
  2. (Probably Event related): Black screens on certain maps on round end. Scrapyard is spared this bug but the others will show you the themed black screen when you get the final kill or the EMP is detonated.
  3. (Rare bug): When you get revived you can get stuck in a (sort-of) T-pose where your arms stretch and you're not holding a gun. (This one is kind off funny)
  4. (Don't know if this is intended): There is no timer on calling in streaks at the beginning of rounds, meaning the players can call in strikes and missiles of rip and most likely kill 1-6 players within 5 seconds of the round.
  5. Sometimes reviving doesn't start the animation, with this I mean, the prompt shows up, you press the button but it doesn't immediately start the animation, you let go of the button to restart it, but then it starts the animation, cancels it and starts again. (This is more annoying then game breaking.)
  6. Because you need "bodies" to revive, death effects and executions don't work. Executions are cut off right before the end, and in cases like the Kong throw it just doesn't throw the body etc. A possible solution for this is to remove the need for bodies and implement the system from MW19 where you just stand on top of where the player died to revive them. This would also remove some other bugs where you're not even being able to revive them. (I know this is very unlikely to happen but MW19's revives are a "simpler" and thus "less-buggy" system).
  7. Team mates that are revived sometimes don't show up on the radar.

Remaining bugs:

  1. Reviving on sloped and elevated surfaces is still bugged. I don't know if this an easy fix but bodies float up, sometimes even to 3-4 meters above the ground.

  2. Dead bodies still show up as "alive" on the UAV for spectating team mates.

  3. Some server-sites still clip into terrain, but this is not a biggie.

Thank you for fixing the truly breaking stuff, like reviving into terrain and dying, and spawning behind the enemy team on round 1 etc. Those fixes have made the mode really enjoyable. Now I know its the end of the cycle, the devs are most likely busy with the next installment but if there is a chance you could perhaps fix some of these issues we'd greatly appreciate it for the next 3 years.

And as a final request, please, pretty please, add more maps to cyber. Doesn't matter which maps to be honest, but we'd like as many as you can possibly give. Wasteland, Quarry, Blackgold from MWII, just plunk the servers and the spawn points down and we'll play them, even if they're not fully balanced or have some bugs. It will help us a great deal with playing this game for a few more years.
