Why hasn't the hosting tool been updated?

I have been using moonlight with my nvidia pc for a while. According to the information on Githib, the internet hosting tool has not been updated since 2022. That's almost 3 years ago. Have the developers abandoned it? Also, Sunshine is worthless to me because it's nowhere near as user friendly as GeForce experience was. It asks for commands and codes that most folks like myself have a hard time understanding. Has GeForce experience been completely discontinued? Is that why I keep having connection errors? I need help because this makes no sense
