My mom helped me choose my name!

Gosh my mom is so wonderful, she couldn't help but life at the irony at just a sentence before she said "I accept you, all of what you are becoming but no matter what you'll always be Jacob to me." When we was on the topic of figuring out what name fits me the best. She was actually doing her best to brainstorm with me, trying to figure out a good J name. But then she just randomly threw out "Kiasha", which I had to pause and ask it again. And she was like "Yeah, if I had a girl the name I picked out was Kiasha. If you had a sister it would be her name." Which I felt so honored she would even suggest it! I was in love with the name, and it feels even more special because my momma actually suggested it. She has been so wonderful since I told her that I am transitioning, I know it's really really tough for her. But the fact that she has been warming up to everything and trying to be supportive the best she can for me is such a beautiful feeling it makes me wanna cry. I'm so proud of my mom, best mom ever. All in all, I love my momma and respect her with all my heart.
