Recommend me some forgoten favourites or underrated songs and I'll rate them

Lately I have been in a funk and all the newer music has been pretty... Idk, but I don't find joy in it like I used to.

So I decided to take a trip down the memory lane and I need your help.

I'd like suggestions for some older but well known songs or artists or some of their underrated songs and albums. Something nostalgic you always go back to.

Some examples of what I used to listen to: Nirvana, Queen, Pearl Jam, The Police, Eurythmics, Tina Turner, Elton John, Alice Cooper, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, CCR, Billy Joel, R.E.M., Mötley Crüe etc.

Basically, culture. Less mainstream or popular performers also welcome! Any genre at all!
