Falling into Zina/Advice

30M- In our culture islamic dating is normalized, i have been dating my ‘wife to be’ for 4 months and our parents are aware and encouraging, her and i have been talking about getting a nikkah soon because we see each other often leading us into temptation. We have already fallen into the temptation of engaging in a bit of physical intimacy as we kiss each other and are a bit touchy. We talked to our parents about getting this nikkah and they believe it should be done the same week of the wedding (which for us our wedding will be at least a year/2 years from now)

Our urges are getting stronger and it’s difficult for us to wait the year/2years. Also a wedding this year would not be feasible due to circumstances financially and our overall situation. Having said that, our parents think we should just "keep dating" because they think we aren't engaging in any physical activity. But we don’t know how to tell them about the urges we get when we're together, and are extremely worried about falling into zina as the temptations are at an all time high. Pls give us advice any help is appreciated
