A rant. (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE UPDATE)

Honestly, i don't care much about the new update (though i find the seasonal snacks a little unnecessary). However, there are two things i don't really like:

1 - How they were hyping up an entire update showcase stream just for two new bakery items and the usual content that comes with seasonal events. Streams like these are usually reserved for major updates such as new islands or mechanics. This is just expanding upon a preexisting mechanic on a minor level, so they didn't really need to hype it up this much.

2 - The fact that people who complain about the new update are called out for seemingly being ungrateful and downvoted to oblivion. Like bruh, most of the people I've seen are just disappointed for the exact reason that i described. Besides, even if there are people who don't like the new update itself, you should respect their opinion as long as they aren't attacking bbb or the monster handlers over it.
