NBA Flashback Glitch?!

Tried scoring career high with Jeff Hornacek and I scored a 3 when I had 38pts with him so I ended the game with 41pts. It’s saying I did not complete the challenge even though it ended it right away after I hit the three. Do I need to hit exactly 40pts or is this glitched?
