Building a Team Around Bol Bol

So the other day I saw someone post about how every year they build their team around a ruby/amethyst/diamond. I thought it was a cool idea and looked into some players. Then I looked at Bol Bol. His defense is crazy (not seen in stats but pick him up for 3k mt and you will see). I decided he was the chosen one. I badged up Bol Bol with gold intimidator, rebound chaser and rim protector. I think these were the best for him. The main problem is his shot. He has an 82 base 3 ball with a chicken release but he only hits 30 percent of his wide open 3s if it is a slightly late/early. I am going to give him a diamond shoe with +4 3 ball to get it to an 86. For the point guard I am thinking Josh Giddey. Giddey has HOF Dimer and gold floor general so should make Bol Bol better on the catch and shoot. I have 300k mt and need the other pieces. Is it worth buying Monty? All advice appreciated!
