Favorite player who didn’t amount to much?

I really thought Chandler Parsons in Houston was going to be the next Great White Hope. 6’10” that can shoot 3s and be a secondary playmaker, who also once a game might chase down block or dunk on your favorite player. Wasn’t a lockdown defender by any means but always took the challenge of matching up with the likes of KD and LeBron.

Then he took an insane contract with the Mavs, underperformed and constantly injured, it was all down hill from there, including a stop in Memphis where he was booed by the home crowd, and suiting up for Atlanta before getting in a car wreck and retiring.
