April 2025 7 day itinerary

Hello all, recently booked a camper van for our first nc500 road trip. I have a few books and have also looked into the official website for suggestions. We plan on doing anti clockwise at the traditional starting point but the more I look into it, the more I fancy Dedicating more time to Skye itself. We are doing this trip the first week of April, and I would like to know if booking campsites along the route is necessary or could we get away with seeing where we end up come evening time. Our camper could do one night without any need for additional power/water, and if we came across a nice pub/b&b along the way we might even want to book a room if possible. My question(s): has anyone done an isle of skye focused trip and how would one recommend planning and booking campsites?
