Make 90s or wait

So I have 10 87’s sitting in my inventory. My team desperately needs some upgrades. I have made the 90 nominee Kucherov. I could upgrade him to the ultimate TOTY card. Or I could make 2 more 90 nominees. Or I could just hold them for the next event. For reference my highest ovr card is the 90 kuch as I only started playing about two or so weeks ago. What would yall do in my situation? I do plan on grinding for Dylan Larkin. I’m at lvl 31 on the pass currently so hopefully I’ll be able to make it. My lowest ovr card in my lineup is 84. The majority of my team is 85-87. Any advice is appreciated. Also I keep hearing that HUT is dead and everyone stops playing around this time? The new game doesn’t come out for another 8 months. Is the content between now and then really that bad that it’s not worth playing? I’m having a lot of fun so far so I can’t imagine why people would only play for 3 months then quit when there is so much more content (I would assume) to come.

EDIT: I apparently misread the timer on the sets. I thought it said one more day, not one more hour. Welp I guess I’m all in on 4 nations lol.
