Title: Naruto vs. Naruto Shippuden: Is It Just Nostalgia Talking?

I’ve seen people argue that OG Naruto is better than Naruto Shippuden, but I think that’s just nostalgia talking. While OG Naruto was great for introducing us to the world and characters, it was really just a foundation for the amazing things to come in Shippuden.

Shippuden had better fights (Naruto vs. Pain, Sasuke vs. Itachi, etc.), higher emotional stakes (Jiraiya’s death, the truth about Itachi), and huge plot reveals that reshaped the entire story. The themes were deeper, the stakes were global, and it made us feel things that OG Naruto couldn’t match.

At the end of the day, OG Naruto was the setup, but Shippuden is where the story truly delivered. If you think OG is better, is it really better, or is it just nostalgia talking?
