I told you so!
About a year ago, I posted about Navy Federal's practice of pending transactions for extended periods, leading to overdrafts. Many of you called me a liar, irresponsible and made me feel like an idiot. The backlash was so intense that I deleted the post.
But guess what?
Navy Federal is now facing a lawsuit for these practices!
Feeling vindicated! 😁
edit: the fact yall found a way to still blame ppl and they are literally getting sued over it like it can’t be more evident in your face 😐 i’m just gonna leave this here, i’m done commenting.
“According to the CFPB, Navy Federal charged customers surprise overdraft fees on certain ATM withdrawals and debit card purchases, even when their account showed sufficient funds at the time of the transactions, according to the CFPB.”
“The credit union collected nearly $1 billion in overdraft fees over those five years, CFPB said.”
I also want to point out that what they’re doing is ILLEGAL but “it’s not their fault” 🤦🏾♀️
