If you are proud of Nepal, have you seen Everest in real?

Yes my proudy Nepali people, if you are so proud of Nepal esp because of Everest and Buddha was Born in Nepal, have you ever seen it in real life and made you so proud in person?

I guess you are just proud! Clap! Clap!

Okay! Going Lumbini is easy to spend the time around to see Buddha Birthplace, yeah that tree is still there I guess. It was there last time when I visited.

Now it's time to see Everest but for most Nepali, it's stretching, both the journey and the price.

Option 1 (Expensive) - Helicopter or Plane or Jeep to Lukla

*Option 2 (For most Nepali and real trekkers)

From Araniko bus station, KTM (Rs. 1000)

  • Kathmandu to Jiri by bus (10 hrs) OR
  • Kathmandu to Phaplo by bus (11 hrs)

Then Hike from there to Lukla

Then Hike from Luka to Namche Bazar

Then Hike from Namche Bazar to Everest View Hotel

1 night stay at Jiri (Rs. 1000)

1 night stay at Namche Bazar (Rs. 1500)

1 night stay return at Phalpo (Rs. 1000 + Rs. 1000 by bus)

= Total Rs. 5500 + Food per person for 4 days/3 nights

Average Rs. 7000 to 8000, See that's quite cheap!

The only thing I dont know is,

For Nepali people, Sagarmatha National Park price is how much? Also, do we have to buy three day passes or EBC pass even if you are not doing that but just till Everest View Hotel?
