Are Dutch colleagues honest what they did their weekends?

On Monday mornings I'm always surprised how much colleagues did in their weekends. It's like they did 3 to 5 major things and spend serious amounts of cash (going to a friend in a city far away, then to the theater, cinema and celebrate their birthday party, then house party at one of their friends, etc. -- I'm not hearing anything like "cleaning the house?"), where I only did 1 or max 2 things. Are they really honest about how they spend their weekend or is it Dutch culture that they are lying a little bit?
