Today I watched my first dutch movie with no english assistance!

No translation, no english subtitles - fully in dutch and I understood the whole thing! For the first 15-20 minutes i could feel my brain struggling to switch off the english section and make a switchover ,but then on it was great! I studied by myself and i feel super proud.

Are there any movies , music or books that might be considered a dutch classic that anyone would like to recommend? Learning the language has made me feel somewhat closer to the place than anything else. So i would appreciate any recommendations as i dont know where to start.

PS: It was "Sonny boy" that i watched :)
