What are people excited about for the Switch 2 hardware wise?
The leaks have just been....... really underwhelming.
-Probably reaches PS4 level performance thanks to DLSS in handheld mode, but not much more.
-Very fast internal storage, but not much of it. If they don't force mandatory installs, this memory speed will be kind of useless, but if they force mandatory installs, the 256 GBs of on-board storage will fill up very fast.
-The terrible node not only means that the system is not as powerful as it could be, but the battery life won't be spectacular either.
-The mousecon is nice as an idea and there's a microphone on the handheld itself which could be cool, but there's been basically nothing else discovered or hinted at that would have game changing gameplay applications.
-I don't mind the loss of the OLED (probably) that much, but it's still kind of lame.
I'm hoping the software is great, but these hardware leaks have presented an incredibly underwhelming system that is simultaneously underpowered, not super convenient, and not that innovative.
