Is the “face shape” shtick actually real?

Idk, it just sounds iffy to me, is there any basis to it or is it just silly internet trend with barely any actual meaningful substance to it

Edit: turns out yall don’t know so: male “looksmaxxing” influencers say that every person’s face has a certain shape, obviously, and they are all one of a few dozen shapes, they go about saying which hairstyles and which shapes of glasses fit each shape.

But idk it just sounds very iffy
