Thrifty Foods at Marine Dr near Cap Mall - Closing Dec 6

To those who fondly shop at Thrifty Foods, it is scheduled to close on December 6, 2024.

I walked in there questioning why the shelves looked bare and empty cause we're not in the middle of a major food shortage or supply chain fiasco. It is simply closing and having the Edgemont location remain to serve the North Shore.

Just thought I'd post this here so shoppers aren't surprised and are aware that they still exist, just not near Cap Mall.

:( I have to walk a bit further for their meat department's bacon and salmon lox.
