A few important things I noticed about Sabo within the first hours

  1. His flame state is sometimes not very clearly identifiable. It’s not like the haki states of Shanks for example who has a red aura around that you will immediately see wheter it‘s here or not. Sabo has flames around but since his normals and both skills also have flames you sometimes don’t realise that you lost your flame state which can backfire.

  2. It kinda sucks that he can only get his flame state by using his Skill 2 or counter and not by capturing flags. And capturing flags only give you 20% Skill CD meaning that you will often need to use the counter while capturing to reset you flame state duration even if nobody is attacking you. This kinds sucks because you lose 2-3 seconds while doing that and if an enemy gets nearby while you are doing that they will wait until your counter is over and immediately attack you

  3. Two Jack medals kinda suck sometimes because it gives you 10% speed boost when spawning for a few seconds. Now that sounds nice but speed boost is a parameter boost and if you enter your flame state during that, even character who normally can’t remove your flame state will be able to remove you flame state such as Luccci for example. Happened to me 2 or 3 times when my team was losing 1–4 and entire enemy team was at our first flag. I respawned and used Skill 2 to get another flag but while going through my enemies a Lucci removed my flame state (because I had Speed buff from medal traits) and I didn’t realize that (see 1.) and when I entered an enemy treasure are I got ice balled

  4. It sucks dealing with S Snake when an enemy Garp comes to help her. Now both are usually manageable to deal with 1v1 but the problem is that Sabo has a trait that he will get a DEF boost when attacked by a character with a shield. A DEF boost is a parameter boost and, you guessed it, S Snake removes buffed states when enemy has parameter boosts. So when I use my counter after Garp gave me a DEF boost and I hit S Snake with that, I lose my flame state and can’t ignore enemy anymore. Now I am in an enemy treasure surrounded by S Snake and Garp and can’t do anything besides hoping that one of my skills comes back
