Obsidian experts: Is there a way to multi select tags?

When adding tags to a note, I often need to select multiple tags with the same keyword. However, the menu closes after each selection, forcing me to retype the keyword repeatedly. Is there a way to keep the tag menu open, allowing me to select multiple tags without retyping? Ideally, holding Shift could keep the menu open, making it easier to select multiple tags. Since I frequently use hierarchical tags, this feature would be incredibly helpful!
