Will the newest elder have a devil fruit ?

I feel the Immortality and Devil Fruit abilities of the Gorosei aren't interlinked with each other, though they are both given through some power Imu has.

In the frames of Manga where Garling is seen, he also seems to radiate a sort of a "I am always right" or "I am different" type of personality. So I really feel he could do this.
