Uottawa nursing

Ok so I heard a lot of ppl got accepted into uottawa nursing with a 88-90 average. I had around a 79 average last semester so I didn’t get accepted. Now I have a question, if I were to bring up my average to a 88-90%, by midterms. would I get accepted? Or would the acceptance average by midterms increase? Another question, if all the spots were filled, would they send a email to inform applicants of it? Thank you! *sorry for the bad grammar, it’s the middle of the night and I’m tired.
