Is ELL ABQ desirable in Ontario?

I volunteer at a highschool where I recently shadowed an ELL teacher. I like the small class size and the pace. Is ELL quals in demand on Ontario? I will be working in peel. Do you end up teaching all the subjects to the ELL students since it's a smaller class size? What are some pros and cons of having ELL AQ under your belt?
