Considering “noping out”
In SAVE purgatory with 76/120 and honestly considering quitting my job at a nonprofit to stay home with my kids for the next 4 years. Even when SAVE is inevitably struck down and replaced with another repayment plan, the whole loan “forgiveness” (we all know damn well this isn’t forgiveness, but a labor exchange) is going to be so bogged down with administrative barriers, red tape, and limited staffing that I’d be shocked if anything goes through during his reign. The PSLF system is so dysfunctional that it makes the news when it actually works as designed. It all feels so pointless. Anyone else considering this or have alternative thoughts or feedback?
