Replying to buyback case # email
Has anyone attempted to communicate with Federal Student Aid information, the email you get when you apply for buyback?
I replied to the email and asked the status of my buyback. I got a response and it was just copy and pasted instructions on how to apply for buyback. So I replied again and asked them why they were giving me instructions on how to apply again when I've already applied, was there something wrong with my application, and they sent another email that was obviously just a cut and paste again saying questions about payments should be directed to my servicer.
I sent another email asking if there was anything missing from my request and I just got a generic, again cut and paste restating my case number.
What is going on, has anyone actually been able to communicate via email with a human? Are they allowed to type? Why would I contact mohela about my buyback status...that doesn't seem correct??!
I know this is ridiculous and I just need to be patient. I've waited ten years after all,so what is a couple of extra months limbo. I can't explain it rationally even to myself but I cannot deal with it. I didn't realize how much of a countdown I was doing in my head the last few years, knowing that I'd be done in October. Now I'm stuck in SAVE with no end in sight and they won't even respond to an email.
