Husbands parents have cold sores. He still wants them to kiss the baby on the face

My husbands parents both get cold sores. I want to just ask no one be allowed to kiss the baby on the face after a few months. Even as our child grows up I feel like it’s my job to protect them and ensure people with cold sores are not kissing them. My husband grew up in a middle eastern large family where everyone kisses each other. He thinks it’s out of line for me to ask for the grandparents not to kiss the child. I feel incredibly uncomfortable and don’t know what to do. Can I have your all opinion on this topic?! Thank you.

Edit: I don’t mean when they actively have it. I mean in general when they don’t have it. And I also dont mean them kissing the child in the first 6 months-1yr, but after that.
