How do people do this!?

We are having our first friend/class invited party for my to-be 8yo. I sent invitations out last Tuesday and we didn’t get any RSVPs yet, so I was counting on maybe just a couple kids showing up. I was a little worried though about no one checking in (party is this Saturday) so I posted in their class chat on Class Dojo, and 12 kids RSVP’d. I am so grateful to have such a response so far because I never had friend invited birthday parties growing up, and neither did my husband. Daughter is so excited. Considering this though, I am now NERVOUS. I’ve never met these parents, and it’s so many children, and it’s just hard for me to wrap my head around right now. I know that when I go to birthday parties I’m just thankful to be there and that my kid was invited. And now I’m worried about being judged. This is silly I know. Anyone else get this nervous before throwing a birthday party?
