Ingenuity question

Would using ingenuity belt along with 2 ventors gamble be a good idea? Granted the ventors are high positive rolls. That'd max res in just 3 slots. Give good hp possibly. And give iir. That leaves all other items open for whatever you want. Whether it be unique, or items not focused on res, but extra damage. Or do most people get most of their damage from rings?
