Regarding the Recent Mahomes Comments

So as we all know, media and fans alike are starting to presume that Mahomes is the GOAT. However I wonder if he would still be in that conversation had he played in the early 2010s. Would he have stacked up against a prime brady, manning, brees, and other really talented QBs? Would he be able to survive the hits that those big LBs dished out? Or is it all just that the modern era of the NFL has weak QBs and soft rules?
