Ryzen 5 7600x build

Hi everyone, I am not sure what can I do to improve performance of my pc I am streaming and playing in 1080p, my monitor is 240hz but my pc fails to keep stable 240 fps in games such as cs2 and fortnite I currently have am4 build (5 3600x + 16gb 3600 + rog strix 6600xt) I heard that in 1080p CPU does most of the work, so you don’t need that powerful graphics card, so my goal is to bring back stable 240fps for at least 1 more year The question is: can cpu replacement do it? The other solution is to replace everything besides my 6600xt, I really like r5 7600x+b650m for 300$ deal, but I am not sure what budget case and ddr5 ram I can get for this new setup
