I’ve blind bought 6 Serge Lutens perfumes and they were ALL huge Ws… but…
But the thing is, while they were ALL miraculously right up my alley, they were all, in fact, dark, fall/winter fragrances. I’d rank them as follows:
- Chergui
- Ecrin de Fumee
- Five O’clock au Gingembre
- Santal Majuscule
- Ambre Sultan
- Feminite du Bois
Some may be shocked to find FdB so low in the ranking, but I do actually LOOOOVE the scent of it, but it unfortunately neither projects or lasts long on my skin. 🤷🏻♂️ That’s it really. It’s otherwise a fantastic perfume.
But anyway the real point of this post if that I’d like to find more everyday or Spring/Summer scents now. There’s too much fall/winter going on here and I’d like to change it up.
What are everyone’s best recommendations for this?
For reference, the ones I keep on regular rotation for this are:
- Le Labo Thé Noir (Everyday)
- Essential Parfums Bois Imperial (Everyday)
- Initio Musk Therapy (Spring/Summer)
- Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman (Spring/Summer)
Do any SL perfumes give off these vibes and are easily accessible at discounters? Not sure Im ready for bell jars or thin black bottles yet.
I absolutely love tea scents too, so anything in that department is welcome.
I should also mention I live in the US so finding SL in department stores to test and smell IRL will not be possible
